Now it can be duplicated in LR for the most part but I like the color tool and HDR tool in Capture One. This far I haven’t seen any reason to switch from ACR. I have reverted back to 24MP cameras and am no longer seeking for pixel level details in my images. I don’t like how Lightroom creates thousands of files and directories so I use Bridge/ACR and Photoshop and then iMatch as a DAM. Still would love to see LR improve the Clone/heal tools as that may be the only time I move a file into PS anymore. Add in a little help from Topaz DeNoise AI and I'm good. I suppose I could try the Sony version of C1, but not sure there's enough there to sway me. I also use the Nik/Google/DXO collection, but not always. I have and have tried to use C1 (general version), but always end up exporting images to photoshop to do things there that I haven't been able to do in C1 (adjust canvas size, image stacking and merging, etc). ![]()
